Tennis pros restring their rackets everyday!   Depending on how much you play, what type of strings you use and your personal preferences, you may restring ever few times you play or once a year.   The frequency you string your racket, however, impacts your game!    Over time tennis string loses tension.  As the tension on  your racket declines, you will see a considerable impact on your game.  As the tension on your strings loosens, the strings stretch even more.  This creates a cushion for the ball which minimizes the squashing effect. This cushion causes the ball to lose a lot of energy!

Additionally, if you’re racket string tension is constantly changing, you’re constantly adjusting your stroke to compensate.  Consistency is the key. Restringing on a regular basis helps you improve your stroke!
